Both, always, at once.

I created embodyment by Susana from a knowing — that the body holds a language most of uswere never taught to understand, and that we are multidimensional beings, immersed in a fieldof energy, magic, and the intangible.

The Descent and the Ascent

I've been both.Stuck in the upper chakras — disassociating,meditating non-stop, astral projecting, living with my head in the clouds. The human forgetting she's human.

And stuck in the lower — addicted to the quick fix, rushing to nowhere, preoccupied with the material world. The human forgetting she's divine.

When the pendulum swung for me — from the fleshy human to the divine human — I thought I was enlightened. I told myself I'd been cured of whatever was wrong with me before. I have so much grace for that version of me.

But it wasn't until I dropped back down — into the deepest part of my shadows, my traumas, myblind spots — that I began to find something closer to whole.

And even that wasn't the full answer. Trauma healing on its own doesn't get you there either.What I found, finally, was integration — an approach where the divine moves down into thebody, instead of the body being left to heal alone.

Descent, then ascent. Over and over. Initiation, death, rebirth — again and again. From therewe create capacity. This is the place I work from.

The Work and the Gifts

I am Latina — a generational healer from Colombia, carrying a lineage of energy work and a relationship with the elements of nature. My gifts are claircognizant and clairsentient — I know and I feel, and I've learned to trust both. There's no separation between who I am and what I do. I've integrated all of it through my own lived experience. I've learned that the biggest challenges can reveal the greatest potential. Through a series of initiations, I've cultivated the embodied wisdom I share with you now.

I'm a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and Reiki practitioner, and the founder of embodyment by Susana — a space devoted to trauma-based somatics and spirituality. My work bridges the body and the unseen, guiding people into a deeper relationship with their nervous system, their emotional world, and their connection to something greater.

This work doesn't reflect the narrow image of who healing is supposed to belong to. It was never meant to belong to only one kind of person — and it doesn't here.

Lineage, Training, and Path

My work is shaped by ongoing study of Kabbalah, Astrology, Gnostic texts, the Mary Magdalene and Marys lineage, and earth-based spiritual practices rooted in different ancient traditions — the four directions, the elements, the intelligence of nature as divine. These are woven with altar work and energetic awareness.

I'm also informed by polyvagal theory, Qi Gong, and my early foundation in movement as a trained dancer and actor — experience that continues to shape how I work with presence, expression, and the body as a living medium.

I trained under Dr. Peter Levine in Somatic Experiencing over a three-year program — including hundreds of hours of supervised practice and my own personal therapy throughout — and previously held the role of Director of Communications for Dr. Joe Dispenza, which expanded my experience facilitating group work and understanding transformation at both the individual and collective level. My path has also included self-guided pilgrimages to sacred sites across the UK, Scotland, France, and Spain — including time at La Sainte-Baume, connected to the Magdalene lineage.

Born and raised in South America and shaped by moving across cultures, I carry a perspective that treats resilience and adaptation not as something to overcome, but as intelligence that already lives in the body.

A Way of Seeing

My work is guided by an understanding of the human as whole — what ancient traditions called anthropos, the complete human. Body, mind, and soul, not separate. Human and divine.

embodyment by Susana is an extension of that vision: a space to practice, to feel, and to return — again and again — to the body as a place of intelligence, connection, and knowing.
